When the energy crisis heightened in Nepal in 2009 (with up to 16 hours of daily load-shedding), Sandeep decided to launch Gham Power to provide solar PV at prices comparable to diesel generators. Sandeep now continues to oversee its growth as its chairman and also runs a digital health product management company leading a number of cool initiatives at the University of California in San Francisco. Previously, Sandeep co-founded a startup providing marketing analytics in the cloud, which was acquired by Responsys (now Oracle). Sandeep loves building tech solutions with high social impact and he is proudly committed to keep Gham Power growing as a major factor in securing Nepal’s energy future.
