Yeti Poly Chem industry, located in Hetauda, has taken a significant step toward clean and sustainable energy with the installation of a 536 kWp solar power system in collaboration with Gham Power. This solar energy shift marks a major move toward reducing energy costs, improving power reliability and promoting a greener future. It reflects the company’s strong commitment to environmental responsibility and long-term efficiency.
Before turning to solar, Yeti Poly Chem in Hetauda relied on a 3000 KVA transformer and two diesel generators (1250 KVA and 625 KVA) to power its daily operations. This heavy dependence on traditional energy sources resulted in high electricity costs, voltage fluctuations and power quality issues, often creating challenges in maintaining smooth industrial operations.

To overcome these challenges, Yeti Poly Chem partnered with Gham Power and installed solar systems in their industry and brought multiple benefits to the industry. The switch to solar has slashed electricity costs, ensured stable power supply and reduced reliance on generators by showcasing Yeti Poly Chem’s commitment to clean energy and sustainability. By tapping into the sun’s power, the company is not just saving on operations but also leading the way toward a greener, more reliable and energy-secure future for the industrial sector.
Over the next 25 years, Yeti Poly Chem’s solar system is expected to save 19% on energy costs, replace 185 kiloliters of diesel and cut 1,100 tonnes of carbon emissions. This achievement highlights how clean energy can create a powerful impact, delivering both economic savings and environmental benefits.
This journey toward a clean and sustainable energy highlights how investing in renewable energy is not only environmentally responsible but also a smart strategy for long-term growth, cost savings and reliable operations.
