What if every farmer had access to the right agricultural advice exactly when they needed it most?
For thousands of farmers across Nepal, timely information can mean the difference between crop loss and a profitable harvest. Yet many farmers still struggle with unpredictable weather, pest outbreaks, nutrient deficiencies, and limited access to expert guidance.
This is where the Super Krishak app is making a difference. Through digital training, AI-powered crop diagnostics, soil recommendations, weather advisories, and practical farming guidance, the platform is enabling farmers to make smarter decisions every day. It bridges the gap by bringing agricultural expertise directly into farmers’ hands.
The stories of Ram Kumari Kamait from Siraha and Radha Krishna Chapagain from Kathmandu show how digital advisory services are creating measurable changes, not only in crop production but also in farmers’ confidence, income, and livelihoods.
Digital Knowledge Nearly Tripled Ram Kumari’s Seasonal Income
When Ram Kumari Kamait, a smallholder farmer from Pipra, Siraha, first started using Super Krishak, she simply wanted farming advice that was practical and easy to understand.
She cultivates cucumber, tomato, chili, and okra, but like many farmers, she frequently struggles with unpredictable rainfall, uncertainty about fertilizer application, and limited access to technical support. Since she is more comfortable listening than reading, the app’s Podcast (सुनौँ) and training videos (हेरौँ) quickly became her preferred learning method.
Following recommendations from the app, Ram Kumari improved fertilizer management, adopted better organic manure practices, and made more informed decisions throughout the cropping season. These seemingly small improvements gradually transformed her farm.

Real Impact on the Ground
- Seasonal income nearly tripled from NPR 20,000-25,000 to NPR 70,000-90,000
- Sold cucumbers worth nearly NPR 90,000 in one season
- Reduced unnecessary pesticide use
- Improved crop health through better nutrient management
What began as a learning platform has now become an essential part of her farming routine, supporting her decisions throughout every growing season.

“Super Krishak App helped me earn nearly three times more in each season. By following its guidance on making organic manure and fertilizers, as well as crop management, I now grow healthier crops, spend less on pesticides, and earn much higher income than before.”

One Diagnosis That Changed Everything For Radha Krishna
For Radha Krishna Chapagain, farming goes beyond his own fields. As both a farmer and an agricultural facilitator, he helps fellow farmers solve crop problems while continuously improving his own farming practices.
Through Super Krishak, he completed seven certified digital agricultural training series covering rice and chili cultivation, citrus pest management, post-harvest handling, agricultural insurance, farming policy, indigenous and organic agriculture, and livestock farming, strengthening both his technical knowledge and ability to support fellow farmers.
However, one real-life experience demonstrated the app’s value better than any certificate.
During a farmer field school program, participants observed a problem in a wheat crop and concluded it was a Wheat rust (fungal disease) requiring fungicide application. Before recommending any chemical treatment, Radha Krishna used the Krishi Doctor feature in the Super Krishak App. Instead of identifying a disease, the app diagnosed the problem as Nitrogen deficiency. Farmers first corrected the nutrient imbalance, avoiding unnecessary pesticide application and learning an important lesson about accurate crop diagnosis. What could have been an unnecessary expense became a practical demonstration of science-based farming.
The app has also improved his own production. By following soil testing recommendations and improved nutrient management, the quality of his pear harvest increased significantly.

Impact Beyond the Farm
- Completed 7 certified agricultural trainings
- Improved pear quality from 5-6 fruits per kilogram to just 3-4 fruits per kilogram
- Avoided unnecessary pesticide application through AI-powered diagnosis
- Confidently supports fellow farmers with science-based agricultural recommendations
Today, Super Krishak serves as both his farming companion and extension support tool, enabling him to spread reliable agricultural knowledge throughout his community.
“As both a farmer and an agriculture facilitator, I rely on the Super Krishak App to make informed decisions. It helps me accurately identify crop problems, improve my farm’s productivity, and confidently guide other farmers with practical, science-based advice.”
– Radha Krishna Chapagain, Farmer & Agriculture Facilitator
When Farmers Have the Right Information, They Thrive
Although their journeys are different, Ram Kumari and Radha Krishna demonstrate the same powerful lesson: when farmers have access to timely, practical knowledge, they make better decisions that lead to healthier crops, higher incomes, and stronger livelihoods.
The impact is clear. Ram Kumari increased her seasonal income from NPR 20,000-25,000 to NPR 70,000-90,000, while Radha Krishna strengthened his expertise through seven certified digital training, improved the quality of his pear harvest, and now confidently supports fellow farmers with science-based recommendations. Their journeys demonstrate how digital advisory services can increase productivity, reduce costs, and empower farming communities.
As more farmers embrace digital innovation, every informed decision brings them one step closer to a more productive, profitable, and sustainable future.
Ultimately, this is not just a story about digital agriculture; it is a story about people. It is about farmers who are embracing knowledge, making smarter decisions, and creating better futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Could Your Story Be Next?
Every successful harvest begins with a better decision.
For Ram Kumari, it meant tripling her seasonal income. For Radha Krishna, it meant solving crop problems accurately and helping other farmers with confidence.
Your farm has its own challenges and its own opportunities. The next success story could start with a single piece of advice, a single training session, or a single diagnosis through Super Krishak.
