Last few days have been trying to say the least, as we are sure all of you here in Nepal are feeling. We were able to account for all of our team members. Everyone’s a bit shaken, and some people lost their homes – but they are still more fortunate than thousands of others who either lost their lives, or are hurt and still waiting for rescue teams. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
We are mobilizing our resources at Gham Power to help out with the relief work. mainly to provide basic solar lights and charging services to rescue workers, and to communities that are living in tents and shelters and remote areas.
Please send us specific requests for this type of help here, with your contact information, and the exact location where the help is needed (Google maps map marker or latitude/longitude information will be super helpful).
We also request our customers to let us know if their solar PV system has experienced any issues after the quake. We will do our best to send support in time. Also, please share your solar electricity with your neighbors as much as you can in this time of need.
Please understand that we are limited in our resources (a lot of our staff still haven’t been able to make it back to work, and we are trying to make the best of any solar equipment that we have in our own stock). However, we promise that we will take each one of your requests and make it known to other solar companies, and also to relief agencies in general so we can get more help and aid in the form of solar PV system components.
Thanks for understanding, and please keep sending your feedback. We will work through this tragedy together, and build a stronger foundation for the future. Distributed renewable energy system is going to be a big part of this rebuilding, and we greatly appreciate your support in working through this.
